Sebastian Balders is german cold researcher who has been twice to the pole of cold in Russia to Oymyakon (2014) and Verkhoyansk (2017). He has measured air temperatures below –50°C and
experienced the russian winter. He recorded a documentary about the winter life in Yakutia and uplaoded it on YouTube in 2015. At this time his clip was one of the first full-length
documentaries about Oymyakon on YouTube. He now is advanced with cold temperatures, knows how to
survive and how to get dressed during these harsh climate conditions.
